These Terms apply to the organisation (strata corporation, HOA, or property management company) that signs up for ResidentsCentral. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organisation. If you don't have authority to bind your organisation, do not create an account.
By accessing or using ResidentsCentral, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
ResidentsCentral provides a cloud-based property management platform for strata corporations and homeowners associations, including tools for resident management, financial ledgers, visitor access control, maintenance tracking, document management, and community communications.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the platform at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice for any significant changes that affect your community's operations.
The organisation that creates an account is responsible for all activity that occurs under that account, including the actions of administrators, staff, and residents given access to the platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@residentscentral.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining your account. Providing false information or impersonating another person or organisation is grounds for immediate termination.
You agree not to use ResidentsCentral to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
You retain ownership of all data you upload to ResidentsCentral. By uploading data, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of delivering the platform to your community.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any personal information about residents, including compliance with Jamaica's Data Protection Act 2020 and any other applicable privacy legislation.
On termination of your subscription, we will provide a full data export within 5 business days and permanently delete your data within 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Subscription fees are based on the number of units in your portfolio and are billed annually in advance, in Jamaican dollars (JMD). Pricing is provided in your order confirmation and account dashboard.
All fees are due on the billing date. Failure to pay within 14 days of the due date may result in suspension of access until payment is received.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel mid-term, you retain access until the end of your paid period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds.
We will give at least 60 days' notice of any pricing changes before they apply to your renewal.
The ResidentsCentral platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the platform as described here.
Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the platform without any obligation or compensation to you.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@residentscentral.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in activity that poses a security risk to the platform or other users. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before terminating.
On termination, your access to the platform will cease. We will make your data available for export for 5 business days after termination, then permanently delete it within 90 days.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResidentsCentral will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jamaica, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
